FMPI's lecturers at HerTechVenture Project's training!

The HerTechVenture Project aims to promote gender equality in a tech entrepreneurship. As part of the campaign, a unique training for lecturers in STEM (Science, Technology, Enginering, Mathematics) has taken place at the University of Gdańsk. The program - in cooperation with the UG's Center for Teaching Excellence and Tutoring - equips lecturers with teaching methods to support entrepreneurship among all students of science and technology.

Among those taking part are our lecturers from the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics!

The participants training will gain not only knowledge, but also tools that will allow them to:

  • develop entrepreneurial thinking among the students,
  • use pedagogy that takes into account gender diversity in academia and business,
  • use active and inclusive teaching methods.

This is another initiative towards modern and more open education in STEM fields! And in this matter, every step, even the smallest, counts.
